Martin Taylor - Portraits
- His sound is intimate and stylish, groovy and mellow. Martin Taylor plays the acoustic guitar as if it was designed just for him. This album features jazz standards with a twist. Taylor plays solo guitar throughout the album and collaborates with guitarist Chet Atkins on a handful of tracks. While some solo albums may sound flat, this album isn’t missing anything. It’s warm and full of flavor and depth. Taylor likes to experiment with duet overdubs. Check out the romantic version of "My One and Only Love" for a great example of his unique talent.
