David Jacobs Strain - Ocean Or a Teardrop
- Sometimes I was left thinking of Jeffrey Gaines and other times I was thinking of some fancy fingerwork. David Jacobs-Strain is different not just because he’s a good songwriter, but because he plays the guitar most amazingly. He dances across the fretboard like he’s gliding on the dance floor. Not that I’ve seen the man dance, but I imagine it would be similar to this. He doesn’t just strum the guitar, he does all sorts of things on the guitar and you can listen for hours. It’s like he’s having a conniption on the guitar.
