Carey & Lurrie Bell - Second Nature
- Without exaggeration I’ve kept this CD on rotation for at least four runs through. And yes, I mean every track. But the question is why? I mean it’s two guys on the guitar, singing and playing the harmonica. That’s the brilliance of it.

People went nuts when Eric Clapton released the Unplugged album, but this is as unplugged as you can get and it is simply perfect. Yes, I’m a big fan of the blues so I am biased; however, what makes this so perfect is that it’s raw.

There is no one track that might stand out more than the other, but each of the tracks come down to the rawest of elements and essentially it’s a perfect example of what blues should be.
