Britney Spears Greatest Hits: My Prerogative

In a matter of five years, Britney Spears has managed to go from Mousekateer to the reigning princess of pop. Her latest album, Greatest Hits-My Prerogative showcases Britney's metamorphosis from a bubble gum princess, to a sultry pop vixen. The disc includes all of Britney's hit singles, from the one that made her a star, ...Baby One More Time to her more sultry tracks like I'm a Slave 4 U, and my personal favorite, Toxic.

While the album has its good points, it has its bad ones too. Her Remake of My Prerogative is decent, but not great. The track is good, but almost overpowers Britney's low, sassy vocals. There are also two previously unreleased tracks on the album which just seem more like filler than anything else.

Britney gets extra points on this one because this greatest hits package includes a bonus disc featuring several great remixes, with Everytime as the standout. It also comes in silver collectors' packaging, complete with never before seen photos.

Filler aside, the album is still a good buy. Any fan can appreciate having all their favorite songs in one place.
