Alana Davis - Surrender Dorothy
- It's a bit Joss Stone and a bit Norah Jones combined. Most of the tracks are moving and would help any girl over a jilted love affair gone wrong. That said, it's her voice that stands out. I would kill to have a smoky, sultry voice like Alana. The end result is an album which mixes old R&B, Jazz and Blues in such a way that completely entrances. I can guarantee that this album will appeal to nearly anybody who loves the new stuff by Joss Stone, Norah or anybody in that genre.
