Corky Siegel - Corky Siegel's Traveling Chamber Blues Show
- Is it Blues or is it Classical? The album asks the question and the listener is left to answer. It's basically a string quartet going crazy on the blues resulting in a 60/40 mix of blues and classical. In my opinion, the mix leans a bit more towards the blues. When it's classical, the American influence of blues seems reminiscent of Aaron Copeland but that's just my taste. Either way, some musical experiments never really make it off the ground, but this seems to do quite well.
