Blue Merle - Burning in the Sun
- First off, I listened to every track on Blue Merle’s ‘Burning in the Sun’ twice. It’s that good. That said, the entire time I was thinking of The Counting Crows. Vocally, I’m hearing a lot of Adam Duritz influence. Musically, I really got it when I look up the band’s name. The influence is from Led Zeppelin and, hearing the acoustic rock songs that Zeppelin did, I can make the connection. Picture a mix of Tangerine from Zeppelin and the Counting Crows, and you have an idea of what Blue Merle might sound like.
