Jackie Frost - Calliope
- ‘Calliope’ by Jackie Frost is an acoustic rock CD with a country bluegrass feel. At times the songs sound like acoustic rock versions of Bonnie Raitt, but overall I hear a great acoustic, pop/rock trio. Jackie applies a jazz vocal style to the well written songs, played with a slightly country, bluegrass feel. The original songs are easily the type that I envision audiences really getting to know and memorize. Jackie Frost has a following in the Virginia area right now, but I expect them to have a much bigger following quite soon.
