Amos Lee's voice has a raspy, intimate feel while his songs completely captivate you. This album was one of the few that I've heard this year that I've listened to multiple times in a row. What makes Amos's album incredible is that he has that rare combination of being simply a brilliant singer, a great songwriter and a great guitarist. Too often people are mediocre in one or the other, but he excels in all areas.
