- On her self entitled album, Brandi Carlile hits the music world with her soft and melodic voice. After doing her first performance at the age of eight, she fell in love with music, and that love is felt in her performances. The singer/songwriter was most recently featured in Rolling Stone magazine as one of the top 10 artists to watch. Her ballads are soothing, and her voice just a little bit country. Carlile and Columbia Records put out her debut album this summer.
