Blind by the age of 12, Neville Peter overcame that obstacle to release his first album, Simply Hymn Vol. 1. Featuring his soulful voice proclaiming hymns, he has a presence and sound comparable to Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles. Not just a vocalist, he is an accomplished songwriter and musician, accompanying himself on the piano. Both beautiful and moving, it leaves the listener feeling gentle and inspired. A perfect pick for classical and gospel lovers alike.
