Asamov - And Now
- Not knowing much about hip-hop, I can’t compare Asamov’s latest album to others in the genre. This doesn’t mean, however, that I can’t appreciate it. Anyone can find musical bliss in "And Now’s" mix of strong beats and smooth rhymes. Like the science fiction writer of the same name, Asamov is showing us the future.
Every track on "And Now" differs from the next; some are lighter, almost comical, others more serious. However, they all deliver a poignant message about moving forward. When other artists are putting out superficial records with 'poppy' hooks, Asamov ignores the fluff and delivers tracks with real meaning.
You don’t need to be a hip-hop fan to enjoy this album. Like any good album, "And Now" transcends its genre. Whether you’re an expert on hip-hop or a newcomer to this kind of music, you’ll want to hear more from Asamov.
