Bona Fide - Soul Lounge
- On "Soul Lounge," the jazz trio Bona Fide show the distinct sounds of the keyboard, bass and saxophone are beautiful when blended into the right formula. With no instrument dominating over the other, each musician is able to shine. This instrumental album doesn’t lose anything with its lack of vocals, which would likely only take away from the harmony of the instruments.

The tracks on "Soul Lounge" are as unique as their titles. The title track, “Soul Lounge,” makes you feel as though you are enjoying an evening at a local jazz club. The slow and sleepy “Midnight Train,” is reminiscent of the romantic days of railroad travel.

Whether you love Jazz or not, you should give "Soul Lounge" a try. The music of Bona Fide will leave you more than satisfied.
