J-live - The Here After
- Rhyming seems to be as natural as breathing for J-live. On his latest album, The Here After, this gifted MC delivers his message with ease. A highly lyrical album, The Here After is proof of the power of words. As he says in “Audio Visual,” J-live is “hoping you see with your ears.”

The Here After features some strong collaboration with other artists. On “Do My Thing,” J-live and Cvees, a developing MC, balance each other well. R&B artist, Dwele, enhances “Coming Home.”

On The Here After, J-live takes on subjects from politics, to life in the city. On “Weather The Storm,” he criticizes our government, and its policies. “The Sidewalks” is a song about how all cities are the same, and it's up to you to make them home.
