Michael Tolcher - I Am
- Michael Tolcher’s debut album "I Am" has a catchy pop/rock feel to it. Songs like “Mission Responsible” and “No One Above” get your feet tapping. “Kiss and Tell” is one of the more soulful tracks on the album. Many of the singer/songwriter’s songs like “Sooner or Later” reflect the lessons we learn from life. “The Sun Song” is about changing your path in life. It’s one of those songs that you can picture at the end credits of a movie, while someone walks down the street after making a life changing decision. Some of the intros to the songs could be left out though, like the magical sounding beginning for “The Sun Song” and the talking in “Waiting” and the title track “I Am.”
Tolcher’s music has meaning which is not heard in many of the songs that get radio airplay nowadays. If you enjoy music by artists like Howie Day, you’ll enjoy Tolcher’s album "I Am."
