Anders Holst - Five
- Adult contemporary artists can appeal to a wide audience. Sting comes to mind. People of all ages and musical tastes enjoy his music. Unfortunately, singer/songwriter Anders Holst isn’t one of them. While he is a talented musician, his album, Five, sounds too much like something you’d hear at the dentist’s office.
If you are someone who enjoys music that would qualify as “easy listening,” than Five is the album for you. The tracks have soft, calm melodies and jazz undertones. Holst’s voice is smooth and soothing. However, they all sound similar; there isn’t enough range of melody and rhythm.
