311 - Don't Tread On Me
- There’s something comfortable about the familiar. That’s what 311 fans can expect from 311’s latest album, Don’t Tread On Me. Devotees of 311 who have grown accustomed to their sound can expect the style that made the band into a success. However, those unfamiliar with their music, or those looking for something different from the group, may be disappointed.
Despite the band’s lack of evolvement, Don’t Tread On Me is still a pretty good album. 311’s tried and true sound comes through on “Don’t Tread On Me” and “Thank Your Lucky Stars.” While most of most of the songs have the same laidback style, Don’t Tread On Me includes a few heavier songs, such as “Solar Flare” and “Speak Easy.”
