Few artists have had as interesting a life as Candye Kane. This raw, honest performer holds nothing back, and it shows in her music. Using blues, country, and rock, Kane expresses whatever is on her mind. Her latest album, White Trash Girl, is no different.

The album opens with the gritty, "White Trash Girl," where Candye sings about not needing a man with money, "just a 12-pack and a pickup truck." The album continues with songs of defiance. Candye speaks of her strength on "Queen of the Wrecking Ball." White Trash Girl also shows Candye's humorous side. "Estrogen Bomb," for example is a song about the unpredictability of a woman's emotion.
