Ten Thousand Fists
Disturbed is one of those hard rock bands that can be categorized as "catchy." Almost anyone with a radio or MTV can sing along to the choruses from the band's highly successful album, The Sickness. Despite their mainstream popularity, Disturbed have managed to maintain their edge, keeping them from leaning too much towards pop rock.
On their latest album Ten Thousand Fists, Disturbed remains true to their familiar sound. David Draiman's distinctive scat heard on Disturbed's popular hit "Down With the Sickness" is present on songs such as "Stricken." However, Ten Thousand Fists does include some evolvement in Disturbed's style such as, the powerful opening guitar solo on "Avarice."
Overall, Ten Thousand Fists is typical Disturbed. If you're a fan of their music you will not be disappointed. If you never liked their music, this album won't change your mind.
