Don Mclean - Rearview Mirror
- Don Mclean, arguably one of the best singer/songwriters of his time, presents a collection of his beloved songs on Rearview Mirror. The title describes the album perfectly, as it as a retrospective of the artist’s influential career. Perhaps, Don Mclean is best known for his song about the death of rock “n” roll, “American Pie.” However, he has written many of the songs people have grown to love including, “If You Could Read My Mind.” Rearview Mirror also includes some of Don Mclean’s hits as a member of The Jordanaires such as, “(It Was) A Very Good Year.” The highlight of the album is the original recording of “American Pie.” Although we’ve all heard that song a million times in a million different ways, it’s great to hear it was it was intended.
