Blackmore's Night - Christmas Eve
- Big things do come in little packages!
I actually did a little background digging on Blackmore’s Night and hadn’t realize that it is none other than Ritchie Blackmore, of Deep Purple and Rainbow fame! I was so intrigued that I kept on digging and really loved what I found out about the band and the music they make. I’m going to have to check out more albums by them.
Blackmore’s Night album, Christmas Eve, offers a set of three Christmas songs, lovingly and bewitchingly sung by Candice Night and complimented beautifully with the band’s enchanting Renaissance inspired feel throughout.
“Christmas Eve”, “Emmanuel” and “We Three Kings” each bring a unique and spellbinding sound to this Christmas collection.
So until I pick up the next Blackmore’s Night album, I’m going to enjoy this array of wonderful Christmas songs to get me through my waiting spell.
