Turbonegro - Party Animals
- Turbonegro has been around for awhile and has a strong underground following. Now for their sixth album the Scandinavian death punk rockers are bringing their music to a broader audience. Party Animals’ mixture of punk, metal, and straight up rock, lives up to its name. There’s “City of Satan,” which has a KISS vibe, and “Wasted Again” featuring vocals by Keith Morris (Circle Jerks). Beyond the rousing music are the hilarious lyrics. Their humor is also subtle, “If You See Kaye(Tell Her I L-O-V-E Her) allowing them to slip by without an explicit lyrics label. Whether you like it for its craziness-inducing music or its funny lyrics,Party Animals’ is worth checking out.
