Good and Reckless and True
I've read the reviews about the The Alternate Routes, and I listened to each number on this CD. Two songs: the first "Ordinary" and the last "Please Don't Lie" show off the ability of the writer and the musician to merge two crafts in to a single medium. In between we have a head banger band trying to unshackle themselves from their past. This album is a clear progression from the self-hurt of the banger (feel sorry for me) to a display of private emotions that the listener can absorb and be part of. This is not office background music, but pure party.
