Saving Jane - Girl Next Door
- Wait and you shall receive. I waited and this morning on my desk appeared this wonderful album containing the right mixtures and textures, in just the right amount. The lyrics by Marti Dodson reflect common life experiences but they are not simply rhymes for rhymes sake. They are real poetry. She uses the sounds, vocal inflections and even the music to transmit her feelings in complimentary manner. Please send me a copy of her book when it is compiled. The band is not dominating nor is any one instrument overwhelming. This is a team effort and a team beats an individual every time.
