Shawn Mullins - 9th Ward Pickin' Parlor
- Shawn Mullins is a wonderful singer/songwriter. His new album “9th Pickin’ Parlor” will reach an audience who appreciate the pure artistic beauty that acoustic music and folk-rock bring to each other.
Shawn’s lyrics are very heartfelt and draw you in instantly. His voice is a mixture of sweet and rugged tones that bring a warmth and genuine quality to what he sings. “Blue as You”, Beautiful Wreck”, “Faith”, “Homemade Wine”, “Alaska”, “Find Love”, “Solitaire” are exceptional and expressed with such clarity and emotion. “House of the Rising Sun” was a real nice surprise to see on the album, and a very nice re-make, especially with the brilliant guitar playing.
“9th Ward Pickin’ Parlor” is scheduled for a February 14th 2006 release.
