Carrie Underwood - Some Hearts
- WOW!! I would call this CD genre Country Pop. It is funky and not the sappy country I am used to hearing. Well Country music has come along way with folks like Garth Brooks and Reba. It has taken a turn for the better. By adding Ms. Underwood to the roster, it has become much better. I never did watch Carrie Underwood on American Idol, so I had no ideal how she sounded but I am impressed with her strong vocals and her band and the backup singers on this CD are grand. It's full and energized. I like the fact that the vocals can be heard over the music so there is an even balance. I hear everything she is saying and can make out the lyrics enough to relate to whatever it is she is singing about.My favorite track so far is 10, "We're Young and Beautiful." I like the band. The music makes you want to dance even if it’s Line Dancing.
