Various Artists - Another Lost Decade: The '80s Hard to Find
- For most of this album, the hits just keep coming with something for everyone to listen to in the office. It gave one the sense of going back to the days of leg warmers and hair spray bands that you loved back in the 80's. I enjoyed parts of the beginning artists such as #2 "Honeythief" by Hipsway, #6 "Flame" by Arcadia. There was hits for the ladies on "10-9-8" by Face-to Face and some quality songs from selections #10 thru 13 by One 2 Many, Times Two, Wa Wa Nee, and Models. There are a few that someone could skip on the disc as well. For example, "Method of Modern Love" by Hall & Oates. Great band, but a better song would have worked better for their faitful listeners. On #14 "Whirly Girl" by Oxo and #15 "Breakaway" by Big Pig were hard to listen to. The instruments didn't sound good in "Whirly Girl" and the music was the best part of "Breakaway".
