Bombay Dub Orchestra - Bombay Dub Orchestra
- The Bombay Dub Orchestra takes a mixture of the exotic and orchestral sounds to a new level. The two-disc album is the innovative, pet project of Andrew Mackay and Garry Hughes, two British musicians. The pair takes renowned Indian artists and their sounds and creatively mixes them along with a full orchestra. What comes out of this melding is a melodic, easy-going sound that is as interesting as it is entertaining. The second disc on the album takes eight tracks off the first disc and remixes them, which gives another sound to these already unique arrangements.
