- John Fogerty of Creedence Clearwater Revival has released a “best of album” of the famed band. Though CCR was only together for five years, they released nine Top Ten singles, which is an accomplishment that can be linked back to Fogerty, the band’s front man. The album mixes in 25 hits, both from the band and Fogerty’s solo attempts. Including Proud Mary,” “Looking Out My Back Door,” and other fan favorites, this retrospective is a good and extensive purchase. The only complaint one may have about the compilation is many of the band’s most poignant songs are left out, which may keep hardcore fans from referring to this as a definitive compilation.
