Neon and Gold

Boring and monotone. Most see it as an Indie style of self expression. I see it as Boring and Monotone and not something I want to buy. The music is more uplifting than the singing and the lyrics. It's almost as bad as trying to play with a ball of yarn while listening to a CD. But it's not all that bad if you can image sitting in a bean bag chair and staring into space all day and listening to this monotony of lyricism. It is very easy listening and despite the masterful guitar playing there is nothing more than mournful deep powerful tones. Although Indie songwriter Dan Wallace has made a name for himself fronting acclaimed underground bands such as Izis and The Pindrops, I don't think Neon and Gold will get him a Gold.
