Various Artists - Whiskey in the Jar: Essential Irish Drinking Songs & Sing Alongs
- Whiskey in the Jar: Essential Irish Drinking Songs and Sing Alongs is a two-disk album featuring 34 traditional and pub favorites. With its contagious spirit, energy and whimsically upbeat and classic traditional Irish music, Whiskey in the Jar: Essential Irish Drinking Songs and Sing Alongs will surely get any party under way.

Disk 1 “Whiskey in the Jar” by the Dubliners, “Jug of Punch” (Live) by The Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem, “When Irish Eyes Are Smiling” (Live) by Frank Patterson, “Danny Boy” (Live) by Frank Patterson, “Kelly, The Boy from Killan” by The Dubliners, “ The Rocky Road to Dublin” by The Young Dubliners (my rocking favorite)!

Disk 2 “Muirsheen Durkin'” by The Dubliners, “All for Me Grog” by The Clancy Brothers, and “Seven Drunken Nights” by The Dubliners.

Whiskey in the Jar: Essential Irish Drinking Songs and Sing Alongs will liven up any Irish celebration with cheer, and with, a sense of fun and togetherness. Leprechauns and pot of gold not included. But after a good night of singing, dancing, and perhaps some drinking (with a designated driver, please), one may see a couple of those lucky fellows in passing. And if you’re a believer, you won’t even need the alcohol to help you see them; just the joy of the music itself will be enough.
