Lacuna Coil - Karmacode
- Italy’s Lacuna Coil started making waves in America with their 2001 album “Unleashed Memories” where they were mentioned in Billboard magazine’s Hard Music Spotlight. In 2002 their album “Comalies” received huge recognition from Rolling Stone, Revolver and Entertainment Weekly, among other publications in the hard rock and metal scene. Also, in that same year Boston radio station WAAF invited Lacuna Coil to perform at the Locobazooka festival with Staind and Sevendust. In 2004 there was another big gig at Ozzfest with Ozzy, Judas Priest and Slayer. In the summer of 2005 they played alongside Green Day, Incubus and System Of A Down at various European festivals. The song “Our Truth” is on the soundtrack to Underworld: Evolution. Those are just a sampling of what Lacuna Coil has accomplished. Lacuna Coil’s exceptional style of music and the vocals of Cristina Scabbia and Andrea Ferro make them one of the most creatively sounding and riving bands to appreciate. Their latest “Karmacode” is brilliant, mesmerizing, and eclectically beautiful sounding. “Fragile”, “To The Edge”, “Our Truth”, “Within Me”, “In Visible Light” and a darkly haunting cover of Depeche’s Mode’s “Enjoy The Silence” are songs that’ll lure you into the seductive, gothic, metal and hard rock sounds that not only are powerfully, but passionately performed. Discover for yourself the impact of Lacuna Coil’s music with their latest album “Karmacode” available now.
