David W. Jacobsen - Footprints
- David W. Jacobsen studied at Berklee College of Music, has been active in writing and performing for over fifteen years and has over ten albums to his credit, including his latest “Footprints” voted by Upstage Magazine as the top 10th album in 2005. David’s songwriting talents for “Christmas In Jersey City” received an honor award in the Great American Song Contest. David is not only talented in his serious songwriting, but also with his humorous side; and boy do I love that side of his writing.
My choice picks from the diversity of David's creativity are “Batteries”, “Sorry”, “Footprints”, “Meaning Of Life”, “To Your Door”, “Fragments” “Christmas In Jersey City” “Forgotten Songs”, “Famous” and “Know Good Things”.
“Footprints” an album to appreciate because of the songwriting, wonderful and richly sounding acoustic guitar, and because David W. Jacobsen offers an insightful look into the world, as well as a reason for chuckling while he performs. How many guys will say that's okay to do?
