Yo Gotti - Back 2 Da Basics
- Yo reader! How you doing? You ready for some of that rap music? Wanna hear how it is on them streets? Yeah, you better be ready or I’ll mess you up! Well, maybe not me, but I’ll get my homies to open up some whoop on yo’ ass while I stand behind them and insult ya’. Yeah, they’ll be clever insults too. Like I’ll turn up the speakers on my bitchin’ new Escalade and play you a bit of Back 2 Da Basics. Yeah, you’d better believe I would be that gangster, pal. No mercy on ya’.
You know them stereotypes you hear about rap music? Well, this album is the kind of stuff that proves they’s actually based on some fact. You wanna song about beating up women? You got it. Need to hear a number about drugs and hustlers down to no good in the hood (that’s right, I totally rhymed that ‘ish!)? Brother, I got your number right here. Also, we got lots of hardcore language, racial disses, street talk about “bling” and “ice,” and vi-o-lence! We also replace English with Streetlish on the album cover (i.e. replace “to” with 2. Word!). You like this stuff, man? You high on crack, AKA cocaine, boy? Then Yo Gotti can hook you up, dog. They is so tough they could probably get shot like eight times and not have any scars, and by listening to them long enough you’s might get their powers. Then you’d show ‘em. No matter which way you slice it, dice it or spice it, these homeboys just aint up to no good.
