Amy Kuney - Ep
- A relatively short album, “Ep,” by Amy Kuney still drives quite a punch. “So Help Me God,” is the perfect song to open the album with its cheerful beat. “Sore Loser” reflects the track’s title with its downbeats and electric guitar play. “How The Wind Must Feel” is the ideal song to blast while on a road trip either alone or with a group of your closest friends. The song includes such lines as, ‘Don’t want to go home, no never.” “Sold Out” is a discouraging track with lyrics like, “I’m just playing a part.” “In The Dark” has some quiet yodeling to it, which makes the song sound kind of strange. Finally, the only live track on the album, “Breaking Bad Habits,” shows off Kuney’s piano playing knack and opens with the line, “I’m starting over.” Kuney is cheerier than Carole King and bows toward Laura Nero, but has her one-of-a-kind approach.
