Impac - Almost Famous
- “Almost Famous” is a solid debut from new hip-hop group Impac. The album has everything you could want from a hip-hop disc; club-bouncing hits and rhymes that are true and not corny.

I have to admit as I listened to the CD I was worried as I reached the half-way point of the CD and heard some decent rap songs, but the group was missing the single you could hear on the radio. Then track 10, “Make You Move” came on and I was sold on the album. The song with its sung chorus and rapping verses has all the ingredients to become a hit on radio stations and in the club. The song talks about making you want to dance and with the short, but catchy instrumental background, it does make you move.

The rest of the album is hip-hop music, though none of the songs are as good or as catchy as “Make You Move.” “Heeltoe” is another song that encourages listeners to hit the dance floor, though it is not as catchy.

The rhymes from the rookie group are on par with many well known artists in hip-hop. “Almost Famous” is a definite buy for any hip-hop fan looking for the next big thing on the scene.
