Nancy Wilson - Turned to blue
- Nancy Wilson has always been an enchanting musician and her latest effort “Turned to Blue” is no exception. Her voice is always strong and alluring, it dances over jazz bass and piano. The album’s title track “Turned to Blue” has a touch of island drumming along with haunting blues vocals that creates an interesting contrast that is very musically appealing. From the classic jazz sounds of “This is all I Ask” to the big band sound of “Taking a Chance on Love,” altogether the flavors of the album fit together like a glass of fine wine, many different flavors working together to form something deep and richly flavorful. “Turned to Blue” is truly an interesting and diverse musical experience.
