Riley Baugus - Long Steel Rail
- When you pop in “Long Steel Rail” by Riley Baugnus you are instantly transformed as a railcar jumper trying to make your way out west for the great gold rush; which, gathering from the album title, is the message Baugnus was trying to convey.
The songs on the album are the kinds that are used in television and the media when cowboys are riding on a train or setting up camp. The CD is perfect to play if you have a long car ride or you’re going camping and want some music to fit the mood.
Most of the songs are instrumental pieces, but there are few a cappela songs here, but they are not as good as the instrumental melodies. “Long Steel Rail” is a perfect companion anytime we want to feel like explorers searching out new land and new opportunities.
