Nils Lofgren - Sacred Weapon
- Nils Lofgren is a member of Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band and also worked with Neil Young for several years, and both musical stylings can be found on “Sacred Weapon.”

When listening to “You’re not There” I actually thought I was listening to Neil Young not Nils Lofgren belting out a new song. And on “Fat Girls Dance” you can almost see Courtney Cox doing her funny dance with The Boss again.

“Sacred Weapon” is a solid rock album that brings back the sounds of Neil Young and Bruce Springsteen that seem to get lost in today’s rock world. All of the songs are big; big vocals, big background singing and big instrumental – and it works well. Any casual fans of Young or Springsteen should listen to “Sacred Weapon” as it is a nice blend of their two styles and could help revive a musical styling lost in today’s rock.
