By The Tree - World on Fire
- The Christian Rock band By The Tree’s newest album “World on Fire” is your standard Christian album with the same, tired sound.
The album was a decent one with its inspiration message, but it sounded like many of the other Christian albums on the market. The music was quick paced and the lyrics – well they are a Christian band – were about God’s love. Nothing really stood out for me in this CD. If you asked me to name the band whose CD I was listening to I probably would have thrown out a more popular Christian rock group such as Kutless or Sonicflood.
“World on Fire” is a decent album if you like the sound of most other Christian rock bands. I was hoping for a little more with something to distinguish this band from the others on the market.
