Hedley - On My Own
- “On My Own” by Hedley should have great commercial success in Canada if not in America. The lead singer of the band was voted off “Canadian Idol” the northern counterpart to “American Idol.”

The album contains the popular punk, music sound as the band signs, and occasionally screams and wines, over drum based instrumentals. The sound is like Simple Plan or Yellowcard. After awhile the sound starts to sound like a copy of the aforementioned bands.

“On My Own” is a decent punk album, but I hope to see the band create some future releases with their own distinctive sound and get away from music that sounds like many other bands on the market.
