Craig Armstrong - World Trade Center Soundtrack
- Composer Craig Armstrong’s score for the film “World Trade Center” is as mournful as the country was after the tragic events of Sept. 11, which are depicted in the film. This is just as much a soundtrack for that day as it is for a film about that day. The score will make you remember those tragic events with its sad melody. This is truly a great work that moves the listener emotionally. Americans must never forget the tragic events of Sept. 11 and the soundtrack is a mournful reminder of the events of that day. The score, and particularly the main theme for the movie (played on both piano and cello) are a haunting reminder that can chill you to the bone. The album is a strong work of music that seems to come together as a single piece as the tracks have a way of melding together. This is a strong, if tragic, piece of music and should be held close to the hearts of every American much the way the memory of those events and the victims of those events are held in our hearts.
