Ben Connelly - Over You
- “Over You” by Ben Connelly is a wonderfully crafted smooth rock album. Connelly does a wonderful job as singer-songwriter over the soft track that brings out the emotions and lyrics in each song.
Most of the songs are similar to that of the current, singer-songwriters such as Jack Johnson or Gavin DeGraw, but are often slower and more methodical than their music. There are some upbeat songs, but they are not as heavy or intense as these singer’s most popular songs.
Most of the songs have an upbeat basis as their lyrics to help lift the soul in the darker times any person goes through. Overall, “Over You” is a solid album by Ben Connelly, perfect for those lazy afternoons.
