- R&B singer Cassie’s first album is a bouncy and catchy album with a strong energy worth the attention it’s getting right now. The first track, “Me & You” is currently doing well on the Billboard charts and it’s easy to see why. Cassie has a smooth voice that flows over the beats and forms a light yet vivacious tone.
Cassie’s new self-titled effort is an album of infectious hooks and catchy beats. This is the sort of album that can get stuck in your head and can listen to again and again. The repetitive nature of the album may be its downfall. Listeners may not like this album the 10th time as much as they do the first or second. The album itself may wear down after awhile, but Cassie’s talent as a singer will not and she will certainly be an artist to look out for in the next few years.
