Ima Robot
Monument to the Masses

Before Panic! At the Disco and before The Killers, there was Ima Robot. They had the same sounds before these bands did, but it did not catch on. Years later and they have new members and a new record with "Monument to the Masses." I had never heard of the band, but can definitely hear the similarities to the bands previously mentioned, as well as some others. I was pleasantly surprised with their sound and songs. Most of the songs sound like signature Killers tunes. "Pouring Pain" distinguishes the band from the others, though. There's even a little rap toward the end of the song. And when I say rap, I mean like Linkin Park rap. All of the songs are extremely catchy and I really don't know why I haven't heard of these guys before. I expect to be hearing more for them in the near future.
