Life of Riley - Days Away from life
- Life of Riley’s new CD “Days Away from Life” is a beautiful meshing of intriguing well sung lyrics and fantastically played instrumentals. The music is streaming with emotion. This compilation cries out to your emotions. Life of Riley is based out of Houston and most of their music is Christian. This album is full of catchy tracks that are centered around the chorus. The band consists of guitarists—Marcus Acker, Richard Whitting, Barry Ochsner and Taylor Johnson-- drummer Andrew Dove, bassist Dave Van Buskirk, singer and guitarist Paul Killingsworth and singer Sara Acker.
Each track is mellow and calming. This CD would be excellent for car rides or just relaxing at home. It’s definitely something listeners will want to play over and over. This Christian-rock band effectively sends the audience their message in a way that is both entertaining and easy to hear. I would recommend this CD to everyone; no rock collection is complete without it.
