Sadies - Tales of the Ratfink
- “Tales of the Ratfink- Original Soundtrack” by the Sadies has many tracks listeners can crank up when they need to forget about life for a while. “3-B” has prominent drum play and has a beach-like tone to it. Listeners can picture catching major waves to this song. A majority of the songs on this album have a relaxing, beach-like vibe to them that adds to the take a break component of the album. “Horseshoe” has a kaleidoscopic quality to it with some piano mixed in. “Borderline” could be the song in a movie scene between disputing gunslingers at their final showdown. It has a looming beat but merry as well. “Starlight” is a jocund ditty that is danceable. “Times Change” has speedy guitar work. “North Star” could be the background music for a car chase scene in a movie like “The Dukes of Hazard.” All in all, “Tales of the Ratfink- Original Soundtrack,” by the Sadies has relaxing songs you can blast as loud as you like so you can unravel after a stressful day.
