Beth Donnelly & Douglas Feller - That’s Amore
- Beth Donnelly and Douglas Feller’s “That’s Amore” is filled with thunderous vocals from both artists that sincerely project the power of love. “La Canzone di Doretta” opens with Donnelly’s haunting voice and the piano accompanies her. “E Strano1 E Strano!…Ah Fors’ E Lui Che L’anima…Sempre Libera” sounds like Donnelly begging for a lover to return to her side. “Fin Ch’han Dal Yino” has Feller as the salient vocalist and is a zippy song that could be a celebratory one sung after a man finally wins the affection of the woman he has pined after for so long. Feller’s voice declares unblemished emotion. “Spargi D’amaro Pianto” brings back Donnelly’s flourishing voice but in a more frolicsome manner. “La Ci Darem” seems to be a dialogue song between Donnelly and Feller, each proclaiming their zeal to the other in beautiful timbres. “That’s Amore” also features a bonus DVD that includes tracks from exalted composers like Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Giacomo Puccini. If you like opera and two singers who reach deep into your soul to make music that will forever live in your heart even after the CD is stopped, then pick up Beth Donnelly and Douglas Feller’s “That’s Amore,” it is an undeniable expression of love.
