- “Written In The Stars” by Barbara Fasano is a capricious album that will transport listeners to another world of suave lyrics and joyous vocals. The first track is the title track and has a sunny quality to it. The second track has percussion and piano alongside Fasano’s sleek voice with lines like, “Let’s fall in love. Why shouldn’t we fall in love?…Why be afraid of it?” The third track has acoustic guitar and a question statement throughout with lines like, “What am I here for? It’s time you know.” The fourth track introduces saxophone and a warming yet high-pitched “oooohhh” that brings sensuality to the song. The fifth track has slow acoustic guitar work and is a discovery song of one’s true intentions with lines like, “Is there anyone around?…It’s the well know runaround your givin’ me.” Barbara Fasano’s “Written In The Stars” has a soothing flow to it with songs about love that lasts forever and love that slowly fades away.
