Yet its lyrics don't fit with the beat as they are about deceit with lines like, "Put on your makeup/but you're so obvious, complaining about every little thing when you know the truth." "Art of Poisoning" conveys the idea of the band pursuing their true love with the line, "Looking for my heroine." "Waking Up" slowly gets under way and builds to a climax with a cluster of instruments including electric guitar. "Alone" has people in the background talking and is a song about frustration with lines like, "I've lost my patience with this conversation, it's slowly going nowhere."
